You are getting very good at making these cartoons!! Love that you share them with us!
Victor,I really will have to explore Toondoos better. I didn't notice all the Biblical type characters and scenery.Did you ever like Asterix comics as a child? I was just thinking about all the Latin jokes. So clever. I guess your Latin header made me think of that. Are you a Latin scholar by any chance?
Hello Noreen and Sue,Thank you for writing in. I'm so glad you like my cartoons. Yes, I did love Asterix comics. I used to read them in English and in French. The jokes are different in each language. I still have some books. I did learn Latin prayers and the Latin Mass. Dominus Vobiscum.
Yet another biblical scene I wish I could go back in time and watch. I bet there is a lot of truth in your cartoon here.I guess it just goes to show that we should never "bet" against God. And that His power is no "laughing matter".I'll be here all night. Don't forget to tip your waitress...God Bless.
You're right Michael. I guess many people there thought Goliath would win.God bless.
Sigh. I don't get it, Victor. Is this a combination of the story of the talents in the new testament and David and Goliath? But who is the guy sleeping on the ground? Sorry, I'm dense sometimes when it comes to cartoons. Guess I didn't read enough of them growing up!
Hi Sarah,There's no hidden meaning in this cartoon. It shows two people betting their talents (money) that Goliath would win. No significance in the sleeping man either, except he thought the fight would soon be over and not really worth seeing.God proved them all wrong.God bless.
I PRAY FOR ALL WHO COMMENT HERE. God bless you.
