Lenten Reflections

6 comments:

  1. Victor, very nice reflection. One thing stood out at me as I listened - I reflected on how similar we are to that crowd that was one minute, very vocal for Jesus, and the next, much quieter or even changed. We are all influenced to some degree by those around us aren't we? And yet, Christ needs us to be vocal all the time ... for Him. Unfortunately we are more like that crowd, Peter, and those that abandoned Him, than we like to believe.

I hope you have a Blessed Holy Week.

    God Bless.

    1. You got it right. We say we are for Jesus, but sometimes we shy away from being vocal lest others think less of us.

Have a Blessed Holy Week too, Michael. God bless.

  2. Hi Victor! What a lovely study on Jesus to start my Holy Week with...the narrator has such a perfect voice for this type of reflection too.

I pray that you and your loved ones have a most blessed Holy Week and Easter.
Traveling with you on the road,
    Ceil

    1. Thank you Ceil for your kind words. I used to do radio work years ago. One of my programs was a Christian hour on Sundays.

      Have a Blessed Holy Week.

God bless you and your family.

  3. Not easy to lay "IT" all on the line like you're trying to do Victor #! but like it says in a song... we can gamble for money, we can gamble for gold, the stakes may be heavy or low but if we haven't gambled for LOVE and LOVE then we haven't gambled at all.

I guess us old dinosaurs are still singing the blues. Right? (lol)
