After all, a G-d who can be easily understood, explained, and put into a box would hardly be worth worshipping.messymimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10649529601786689712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2100862372880209397.post-82248629871466487622020-06-07T13:57:32.774-07:002020-06-07T13:57:32.774-07:00Thanx R.

I believe in in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Father before all ages."

Jesus was begotten, not made by God just like He made us and everything else. "Before all ages" - this means that Jesus has always existed. He did not just begin to exist when He was born on earth. When He was born on earth is when He appeared to us in human form. But before that, He has always existed with God, because He is God.

Goosebumps indeed. It is difficult to understand how there were always three, as your Pastor says. But we are asked to believe, without understanding. God did not ask us to understand, but to trust Him.

God bless, Mevely. Regards to your Pastor. Citing an example, she pointed out how we're conditioned to segregate the three: God=Old Testament, Jesus=New Testament, Holy Spirit=Pentecost. When, in fact, there were always 3: (Genesis 1:2) We read about the Spirit “hovering over the face of the waters.” That accounts for all three Persons of the Trinity at the very start of things." Gave me goosebumps!Mevely317https://www.blogger.com/profile/14786988262452989091noreply@blogger.com
