It's A Wonderful Time Of The Year

Hello everyone.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and presents, and good food and drink, and laughter, and joy, and everything else too!

We had a great time on Christmas Day. Everyone visited and we had a grand family gathering with a few friends too.

As everyone was cheerful and merry I remembered an old lady who lives alone a few houses down the road.

No one ever seems to visit her. No family. No friends. No neighbours. No one.

Can you imagine that? Being all alone in her home on Christmas Day with no one with her. I felt sorry for her.

So I put on my coat and walked down to her house and asked her if we could borrow some of her chairs.

She refused.

What a selfish person. No wonder she is all alone at Christmas!
OK ... I AM JOKING

YOU LOT SHOULD STOP TAKING ME SERIOUSLY!

  1. You had me. At first I thought you were going to go invite her to your family gathering. Then the chair came up. I chuckled. And I love the meme. Thanks for reading my blog Victor. I hope we can get to know each other better in 2020.

    1. You're always welcome here Bill. This Blog is mainly a Christian blog; but I have discovered from my stats that new readers are attracted here by my humourous posts and then, hopefully, read the Christian ones.

A Blessed New Year to you and your family.

      God bless.

    1. It is a shame. All we needed was a few chairs for the evening. She refused.

  6. Oh, my goodness! You really had me going. At first, when I saw the picture, I thought it was Gertrude. (Was that her name - the eccentric aunt you wrote about a few posts back?) Thank you for making me laugh, Victor! Many blessings to you!
