Donate a Prayer

Just before He was arrested, Jesus prayed for His disciples. (John 17).

Then He prayed for us – yes, you and me. He said:

“I pray not only for them, (the disciples), but also for those who believe in me because of their message. I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me.” John 17: 20-21.

Prayer is the greatest gift we can give each other. It shows generosity of spirit, it shows caring, and it shows love on our part for someone else.

Please pray for me.

Please pray for others.

For every comment below promising or requesting a prayer; I promise to pray for the intention mentioned.

God bless.

  7. Hi Victor, You are such a joyful presence in the Catholic blogosphere! Hilarious, but unfailingly kind and reverent. I love your spirit, and I am also now a proud owner of one of your kindle books.

As for prayer, I'm donating remembrance of you and your intentions in my holy hours next Tuesday, and in the Way of the Cross tomorrow.

Please pray for my son, Christopher and his fiance who will be married in July, but do not attend Church...although they are planning a Catholic wedding. (Am not sure how this is going to work once the priest starts asking questions.) It would be such a beautiful Grace if they would both return to the Sacraments before their marriage. Thank you in advance for praying for them!

    Bless you, kind Victor,
    Patricia

  8. Thank you Patricia for your kind words. It's so nice to see you visiting here. I'm pleased you have one of my books. You, know you can download my books free from my website - links on the right hand column.

Thank you also so much for your much needed prayers. I will pray for you too and for your family, and especially for your son Christopher and his fiancee. Many congratulations to them. I wish them well and a long and happy life together.

I am sure that God is aware of their situation, and, with our prayers, in His time and in His way, He will lead them to Him. The fact that they are marrying in Church is itself a good thing; is it not?

The greatest gift we can give ech other, Patricia, is prayer. It shows a generosity of spirit and a love and kindness for one another; just as Christ asked us to do. I believe God particularly listens to out prayers for others.

God bless you adn your family.

  16. Dear Victor,

I have found you to be one of the kindest talented man on the internet that has been going out of his way to reach so many people and I'm sure that His Holiness pope Francis would agree but then again we both know that GOD (Good Old Dad) works in Mysterious Ways and knows Everything.

Long story short, I've now asked God and His Angels to daily take care of all prayers that He knows we need because I would be spending all of my time name calling and then many might simply say that more prayers are needed for me. Although I would agree that my wife and i of forty three years of marriage are very happy and contented but God knows that our world could use more of the kind of "Faith" that you've been providing free of charge.

God Bless and thanks again for your continued prayers

    Number Two Victor!! :)

    1. I will continue to pray for you and your family. Our Lord is always but a prayer away. All we need do is just think of Him and whisper our thoughts and He is there to comfort us. Because He loves us all; each one of us in His own way.

God bless you and your family always.

    Dear Victor #1

I know that you've been praying for me and my family since I first commented on your blog and long story short, I've really seen the changes for the good... I was literally saying The Rosary every day last year and the changes were coming fast and they were kind of scary... Longer story shorter, sinner vic con vinced me that if I truly believed that my soul is truly in The Hands of "Jesus" then I should slow down cause "IT" is no secret what GOD (Good Old Dad) can do...

I'll just say that just because sinner vic did con vince me that I no longer need to say The Rosary daily... but don't tell him that he's wrong... truth is praying is the answer and keep praying for everyone including Rev. John Russell D.D. who is also a sinner like the rest of US (usual sinners)

P.S. Like Rev. John Russell D.D. said in so many words that God only knows if I'll ever get back here to read the comments but nevertheless keep me, my soul and my spirit in your prayer cause we're all "ONE" in Christ! Right?

    God Bless you and yours

I can almost hear YA Rev. John Russell D.D.

Again "I" say for what's "IT" is worth God Bless All His Children

  22. I love the title of this page "Donate a Prayer"...Sometimes, it's easier to dig into our pockets and donate cash than to dig into our "precious time" and donate a prayer. I thank you for all the times you've replied on my blog by saying you are praying for me. Truly, I appreciate it. The LORD bless you and keep you, Victor.
