Wish List.

You must have read or heard about the wish lists of things to do before you die.

Usually they are entitled 20 things to do before you die. The number may well vary but the intention is always the same.

The list sets out such things like undertaking a parachute jump, or swimming with dolphins – always a popular one this, I can’t understand why. Or seeing a blue whale, or bungee jumping, and similar adventures ranging from the normally acceptable to the outright dangerous.

I’ve never seen on the list of things to do before you die the wish:

To prepare to die.

What? What do you mean to prepare to die?

I mean:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.” John 14:6.

  1. Dear Blogger Victor, thanks for the comment on my blog. I've enjoyed what you have written here recently. Yes preparing to die from mortality into what most call the after life is really very important. I believe that all persons with any spirituality can and must impart the worldly ways in their lives (confess) that they've sinned, ask for the Fathers forgiveness, thank Him for the many blessings already received and let The Father know that if it be His will you consider yourself ready to come to Him, In Jesus name.
To some of us writing may be a gift from above! Jesus is truly the Savior.
