Biscuits.

  1. Victor, I think that one of the things that I like best about your blog is that you are so real and humble. You are never afraid to talk about your own struggles. I love this little talk. It is so encouraging and true. Once doubt is introduced it can spiral downward quite rapidly. Thank you for the reminder to pray...our strongest weapon.

Prayer can indeed help us fight doubts.

  4. God has certainly had to clean up my share of crumbs when it comes to my faith and trust. Doubts are where the devil starts, but if left to go, he will turn it into despair. So I agree, Victor- prayer is the best thing to swat away the devil and the doubts he brings.
    I always love your analogies.
    Thanks and God bless.

  5. Those biscuit pictures are too good!

And I'm embarrassed at how many times I got mad at God because He didn't give me what I wanted, only to find out later that He gave me something better.

Your lovely reflection is something to remember.

  6. Amen.

This was beautiful, Victor. Everyone struggles with their faith and against the attacks of the devil. I have gritted my teeth so hard at times that I'm surprised I have any left. And I am not joking. In the Heart of Jesus we find our rest. Thank you for your video. You are in my prayers. God bless you, Victor.

    Jesus loves you.

  7. Thank you Mary Christine, Karinann, Barb and Mary for writing in.

I really appreciate your visits and your comments.

Faith does indeed take a knock when things get a little difficult. However, no matter how worried or afraid we may be, we should repeat "Thy will be done" ... and mean it. Now, that's really difficult.

    God bless.

  8. I can emphasize with all you said. And I always think God should drop everything and take care of my needs right now. Hmmm amazing how selfish I can be. We all need a reality check, Victor, and this was a wonderful one! Thank you! Cathy
