FOLLOW ME

I did not mean be my friend on Facebook, or follow Me on Blogger or Twitter.

I meant do it in real life.

  1. Isn't it a lovely photo?!

I don't do FB or Twitter, Victor, because I'm a Twit already but I used to follow you! Only, then, I got to know you better so I stopped following and now I just visit to stir trouble and annoy you;-)

I agree with your serious point, though, Victor. This following business can get out of hand. Let's run after Jesus, instead:-)

    God bless, Victor:-)

  2. Hello Vicky,

This photo is said to be miraculous. At a Mass in Mexico whilst the priest was consecrating the Host, as he raised his hands up with the Host, a nun in church was taking photos. When the photo was developed the figure of Christ appeared. Watch closely at the chest area of Jesus and you can see the priest with hands raised.

I got the photo from a post on Mary's Blog.

It's always a pleasure to have you visit here Vicky. I don't "follow" Blogs either. I have a short list of special favorites whom I visit often.

I started FB a while back because someone explained it would help send people to this Blog, and hopefully they'd benefit from the serious posts. I only joined Twitter yesterday on Sue's encouragement and for the same reasons. Somehow, posts here are automatically posted on FB and Twitter. I don't use either sites for much else.

Oh ... and then there is Pinterest. It's a large series of "Boards" on which you pin your favorite photos and articles and others get to see them. Or you can select a private setting so no one else sees them.

I prefer my personal list of favorite Blogs.

    God bless you Vicky.

  3. Victor,

I saw your latest Pinterest pin notification on FB today. You joined Twitter? I will have to follow you (even though that's not the point of this post). If I follow you, someone else might see that and decide to follow you as well.

Did you go to Networked Blogs and change your publication details to include Twitter as one of your targets? If you don't understand what I mean, let me know and I'll explain in more detail.

    God bless!

    1. Hi Sue,

Thanx for the info. I don't understand what is going on. How did you see my latest Pinterest input on FB and I did not see it? Why is it not on my newsfeed?

Yes please follow me on Twitter. I follow you already.

I think I did go to Networked Blogs. Not sure what I did or whether it will work. I'll check both FB and Twitter to see whether my Blogger posts are also there.

One more thing Sue please. What happens to a tweet? Does it stay there forever, like on Blogger my posts stay here and people can read them a year or so later? Or does a tweet die after a period and I have to-retweet the same link to my Blogger post again?

      God bless.

Following Jesus for real is the answer.

  5. Beautiful, Victor!

You always lift my "spirits"! Left you a little comment on my blog :)

Did Vicky really just call herself a twit?! By the way, Victor, if it's any consolation to you I clicked on that "rock" picture of hers too (hee, hee!)

I want to tweet but don't know how! I've wanted to for a while now but SHEESH! This computer stuff is taking up all the parts of my brain that aren't filled with rocks...

Love the spirited conversations that go on here! Off to go cherry picking with Michaela! Yeah, it's the pits when it is 96 degrees out but it's better than spending an hour clicking on Vicky's rocks ;)

  6. Hi Mary,

You don't really have to Tweet. Just join Twitter. Then when you write a post on your Blog that is really good (i.e. all of them); click thet little t at the bottom of the post next to your name. Hey Presto - that post is now tweeted onto twitter.

Anyone following you on Twitter will see your Blog post.

Also if you follow others - i.e. Sue and me, then all my followers and sue's see your posts. More viewers for your Blog.

At least that's what I understand. Sue's the expert here.

Happy cherry picking. My tree has a few cherries this year (less than last year) but not yet ripe.

    God bless.

  7. You can of course tweet when you like by clicking Compose (top right) and you get a comment box like on Blogger.
