I have known Fr Francis for years. He sings in malls and shopping centres for charity and over the years he has raised more than £1 million. He also writes books and articles for Catholic newspapers in the UK. I have put a number of his songs on You Tube.
I thought Fr. Francis Maple was one of your fictional characters. But I did a search and he's a real friar! I never heard of him before other than at your blog.
Father Ignatius is a fictional character from my books. He is based on a number of priests I have known over the years.
I have known Father Francis for years and only spoke to him on the phone last week. He lives in Wales, miles from me, I'm afraid. He is a Capucin (St Francis) Friar. He has raised over a £1 million for charity and writes books as well as for Catholic Newspapers weekly. I have put his music on You Tube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDkeQvsGyKU&list=PLCGLgIPutQI8RLMu5avYQgoERNg3NHgRt
What a beautiful song! I found myself clicking my fingers right along with the beat! Such a joyful uplift to come and visit with you tonight, my friend. Thank you for making me smile. :)
Thanks so much for these links...when I click on the one for his daily sermons, there is an issue, and it wouldn't open the site. Just wanted to let you know! I will keep trying. :)
Ha! Thank you. That was a morning-brightener.

ReplyDeleteBlessings, Victor!
Is happiness a state of mind, or can it be manufactured? That is the question, as Shakespeare said as he sat on a cactus.
DeleteGod bless you, Lulu.
