Poker Faced Dog

I have taught our dog to play poker. I'll give him that; he can keep a straight face.

We don't play for money. Just dog biscuits.

To be honest, he is a useless player. Whenever he has a good hand of cards he wags his tail enthusiastically.

For the past week I've been eating dog biscuits.

    1. To be honest, they are tasteless. A bit hard though. The dog wants to play again to see if he can win his biscuits back.

      God bless, Martha.

  2. Have you tried the peanut butter variety? Some of our girls' treats actually look tempting.

    1. No, I did not know they make peanut butter dog biscuits. I'll check them out next time I'm at the supermarket. Beware of side-effects though. Ever since I've been eating dog biscuits I have the urge to sniff at trees.

      God bless you, Mevely.

    1. Just hard biscuits. No taste. No sugar either.

      God bless, Sandie.

  4. Playing for dog biscuits may involve taste buds and calories but at least it won't lead to a gambling addiction.

    1. Thankfully not a gambling addiction, but a "rough" time for my dog.

      God bless you, Barbara.

    1. Yes they are a little hard. Not tasty either. But full of nourishment.

  7. His face doesn't give him away, his tail does? Maybe you need to pay more attention to what his tail is doing.
