They say that life is like a toilet roll; the nearer it gets to the end the faster it goes round.
How often do we speed busily through life from one thing to another and rarely have the time to stop and enjoy what life is all about.
Let's slow down a bit and make happy memories for tomorrow.
I will try to slow down! Memories for tomorrow are so very important! Have a grand day! Cathy
ReplyDeleteToo true, Cathy. Hope you have a wonderful week. God bless.
DeleteAh Victor, I think most of us have such a shoe box! We have traveled the world over ex-RAF flyboy and I, and those little memories accompanied us everywhere.
ReplyDeleteP.S. We keep on adding to it to these days!
God bless,
Nice memories can be so comforting when life gets a bit difficult. They teach us to hope for better times.
DeleteGod bless you Noelle.
What a wonderful song (and reminder) - trying to slow down, but it's like trying to stop a train with my small human force...
ReplyDeleteRecent events have taught me to slow down a little, Hand-Maid. Yet I still seem to be rushing at times.
DeleteGod bless.
A beautiful post and song, Victor. Thanks for the reminder to stop and enjoy these "treasured moments" in life. I think I have missed so much because of "rushing".
ReplyDeleteAs I said to Hand-Maid ... I've learnt the lesson about not rushing the hard way!
DeleteGod bless you and yours Mary.
They say that life is like a toilet roll but what does a body do when we run out of "IT"? :(
ReplyDeleteThat's my cue to say that, I've been away for most of this month without any electronic devices and I've still got plenty more post to read. (lol)

Love the song you provided Victor #1, and for some reason, it reminded me of the wedding song of our oldest daughter and her husband of twenty one years ago. Time does fly.

Thank you for praying, it was a great trip.
Thank you for the link to the song played at your daughter's wedding. I like it. Best wishes to your daughter and her husband; and your whole family.
DeleteGod bless you all.
