each of the
Ten Commandments
to suit our
selfish interests.

Sad, isn't it. If only....
ReplyDeleteYes Terri, it is very sad indeed.
DeleteGod bless you my friend.
Ten simple commandments that we failed to follow . . .
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Victor!
Failing is bad enough, Martha. Re-interpreting them to suit us is the real sin here.
DeleteGod bless you and your family.
Hi Victor! It kind of reminds me of how we listen to the rules about going out at night when we're teens. We listen, and then figure out ways to get at those 'loopholes', or find a hole where one really doesn't exist.
ReplyDeleteBeing human is often a challenge, isn't it? God knows us, and knows our thoughts, but I can't help but think we must exasperate the heck out of him! How blessed we are to have such a loving Father, who waits and waits for us to right the ship and obey again.
God's blessings and peace,
Ceil
Yes, you are right, Ceil. I really hope God has patience with us. Whenever I pray I hope He doesn't say, "Oh no ... not you again!"
DeleteGod bless.
