THE SCAPEGOAT
It's in the Bible.
Aaron ...
shall put both his hands
on the goat's head
and confess over it all the evils,
sins, and rebellions of the people of Israel,
and so transfer them to the goat's head.
Then the goat is to be driven off
into the desert
by a man appointed to do it.
The goat will carry all their sins away with him
into some uninhabited land.
LEVITICUS 16:21-22.
Love the photo and the verse! Thanks for your prayers!
ReplyDeleteHello Terri,
DeletePraying for you and yours. As well as for all those who comment here.
God bless.
Poor scapegoat . . . Probably never saw it coming.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Victor!
Hi Martha,
DeleteI guess that's where we get the modern saying of finding a scapegoat.
God bless you and your family.
Thank you for your comment on my Whisper post. I need a scapegoat because I accidentally hit delete instead of publish! :-( ack.
ReplyDeleteNever mind Sandi. It's modern technology that is to blame.
DeleteGod bless you.
