First of all, may I thank all my loyal readers and friends for their continued support and their comments on this Blog. I truly appreciate your visits and I pray for all who comment here.
When I first started this Blog in 2009 the original intention was to advertise my first book "VISIONS". I knew nothing about Blogging then and someone advised me to start here in order to publicise my writings.
Several books and many posts later, this Blog has developed into essentially a Christian website with a little bit of humour every now and then.
Last December I started another website "The Christian Lounge" where Christians of all denominations are invited to share their faith and beliefs and to encourage others to seek the love of God in their lives.
The aim is to publish something on each website every two days or so to keep both sites fresh and free flowing with new material. Quite frankly, it is becoming quite a task; especially since I also aim to visit each Blogger who comments on each site. But I will continue as best I can ... for the time being.
We can all play a part in spreading God's Word throughout the wide web which is the Internet as Jesus commanded us to do.
(Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19).
One way of doing so is to invite your friends and relatives to visit here at Time for Reflections and on The Christian Lounge. The more people visit here the wider we spread our Christian net.
Another way is by submitting short articles (about 500 words or so) to The Christian Lounge at enquiries@holyvisions.co.uk - and when your articles are published to promote them on social media and on your Blogs.
And a third way is to write something about your Christian faith every now and then on your Blogs, and encouraging others to seek God in their lives..
By working together and encouraging each other we can all do our bit in spreading God's Word and giving some hope and love to a world that needs it.
Will you join me?
Let our Blogs be the ones Jesus would like to read.

I can write something about my Christian Faith on my blog - in fact - I hope I do - and I hope people know I am a Christian.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandie. God bless.
DeleteHoping I can get to the point where I always display HIS guidance. finding time in the past few months is impossible for me. But I am learning what my girl has been doing in this house while I played. Cooking and cleaning takes its toll. Love you my friend and I do appreciate all the prayers and you many entrees that have blessed me.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see you visiting here again Jack. I pray that you and Sherry are keeping well; take care and take it easy. Try to relax more my friends. Still praying for you both and your family. God bless.
Delete"Let our blogs be the ones Jesus would like to read." I like how you phrased that. Yes, that's my aim. Bless you, Victor.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara. God bless.

ReplyDeleteThank you Shug. When you are ready, send us a short article (500 to 600 words) to enquiries@holyvisions.co.uk

I don't feel confident to post about my faith, I feel quite wishy washy often. I can't quote scripture, I just believe we all need to lead good lives, help each other; especially those who can't help themselves or are down on their luck. For me, I reach out with knitting and crocheting and donating; and try to get some folks to realize they should share their abundance; but I feel I fall pretty short there. I'm not sure some people can change. I always feel encouraged when I read your posts, they're often very inspiring. AND I LOVE your humor.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandy. You don't need to quote Scripture to help others in their journey to finding God. Just say it as it is. As you've done so admirably well here. Thanx for your kind comments. God bless you always my friend.
DeleteRunning two active spaces like this while making sure to visit everyone back is a massive undertaking, so please give yourself a ton of credit for keeping up with that pace since 2009. Creating an open invitation like The Christian Lounge feels incredibly timely, especially since the internet can sometimes feel so fractured and loud. Your dedication to building a collaborative community where people can lift each other up and share short pieces is a beautiful way to lighten the load while expanding the reach. Stepping up to share faith publicly takes vulnerability, but the idea of doing it together as a team makes the whole mission feel way less daunting. Thank you for putting this call to action out there and reminding everyone of the impact a supportive, digital community can have when sharing hope.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melody for your kind words. Yes, the main purpose of The Christian Lounge is to bring Christians together to share their stories and to encourage each other in spreading God's Word more widely. We manage all the technical bits. All we require from contributors is a short article sent to enquiries@holyvisions.co.uk We'll do the rest. So far we have 8 regular contributors. The website started in December last and so far we've had over 19.5K visits from all over the world.
DeleteGod bless always.
I've been wanting to participate but have been busy moving. We are moved now but there's lots going on and we are not settled. Anyway, I came across some of my writings that I wrote back in 2009 and later. Not many and some of them are short, poems, etc. I don't know if they are acceptable but I will send one to you. It has a photo that will accompany it and a little background on the piece I wrote. I'll try and get it to you asap.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Bill. We look forward to receiving your e-mail.
DeleteGod bless you.
You're doing the will of God, Victor. I think it's great what you've done and I believe even greater blessings will happen in the lives of others, because of it.
ReplyDeleteMany thanx for your kindness to me Debby. God bless you and yours.
