How does it end?

I must admit I like movies. I don't go to the cinema very often these days. Mostly because I tend to cry at the cinema. Have you seen the price of tickets lately? And then the price of popcorn and drinks. Why don't they allow you to bring your own food at the cinema? They threw me out when I brought a few jars of pickled onions with me.

Anyway, I like movies and tend to watch them at home on TV. The problem is, as in the cinema, when Jennifer Aniston is on I have to leave my house until the film is finished.

There are plenty of movies on TV these days, and on many channels too. I like most of them, but not the violent ones, or the singing ones.

The thing is, I rarely get to see a film all the way through. Either I am interrupted by something else, or someone at home needs something, or the telephone rings, or someone calls unannounced and I have to pretend to welcome them or ... worst of all, I fall asleep half-way through the film. I usually end up seeing either the beginning or the ending of films, and sometimes just the middle bit because I did not switch the TV on in time and I got interrupted before the ending.

It is most annoying when I fall asleep during the film. It comes to something when sleep is more appealing than who is on TV at the time ... except of course Jennifer Aniston. She reminds me of one of the priests I know. I usually fall asleep at the first few words of his sermon and get awakened by a sharp elbow in my side. This priest is so sleep-inducing that the local hospital is considering using him as an anaesthetic.

These days I seem to be spending my time flicking through the TV channels to see if they are repeating any of the films I have not seen all the way through so I can view them from where I left off the last time.

Does anyone know how the film Titanic ends? Does the ship sink in the end or not?
