What was THAT post all about?

Well ... what was the last post all about?

Was it about a woman with a flimsy skirt caught in her ample buttocks and revealing her rounded contours?

Was it Victor being rude and outrageous as ever?

Or was it about the innocent mind of an autistic youngster?

Some readers found the story funny and wrote in to say so. I agree with them ... it was funny. Humour has a way of happening in the most solemn and serious of occasions and places. I'd like to thank Remedia, T J Burdick, Rae, Michael and Mary for taking the trouble to write in. I much appreciate your comments and support which encourage me to go on.

But ...

Some readers chose to disassociate themselves from this author. I really regret that.

I will, however, continue to visit their Blogs because I have in the past learnt a lot from their posts. But I will not comment there to save them any further embarrassment.

My writings have always been straight and to the point. If any one is looking for a Saint here then they'd better look elsewhere; because they will not find him in this Blog.

God bless.

  1. Oh Victor,

I'm sorry you've received bad feeling. I didn't quite know how to comment on that one but I definitely haven't dissociated from your blog and your kind friendship!

I feel the same, sometimes,. We write and, then, the response isn't quite what we expected. It's a risk when we're open with our thoughts, isn't't it? With my blog, it often seems easier to just post pictures but I'm also wondering if that's a bit cowardly.

    God bless you, my friend:-)

  2. Hi Vicky,

If you had been there I know you would not have kept a straight face.

As for me, well ... I have a sense of humour which even I don't understand at times. But it makes me laugh.

    God bless.

  3. Victor,

Anyone that knows you from your blog knows you are a good person and are using the gifts God gave you to inspire us, teach us, and even entertain us.

When I read your last post, I saw someone wanting to see the light-heartedness in an otherwise awkward situation; written in a unique style that could only be you. I hope others would view it as such.

    God Bless.

  4. Victor,
These incidents happen at church. I have a tough time keeping a straight face when they do. I wrote about the young man who "mooned" my family - I didn't write about the lady but that really happened too :) A few people had to leave the church after the mooning incident.

    1. Yes Mary, I remember the mooning incident. I suspect God gave people a different amount and a different type of sense of humour.

Don't know how to describe mine.

      God bless you Mary.

  5. I loved the post because of the simplicity of the autistic girl. And we have to have a sense of humor to get those dolphins swimming in our brains. Perspective, it's all about perspective. Sometimes we forget that Christians are supposed to be joyful.

A lot of saints had a wicked sense of humour. Though their names fail me now.
