On Stage

They say the whole world is a stage and we are actors on it. They also say this life is no rehearsal – this is it. One and only life. Get on with it!

Let’s consider for a moment we’re on a stage. What part does God want you to play? Are you in a leading role? Centre stage? A great Christian orator, writer, pastor, celebrity or role model?

Or have you only got a minor part? Waiting on the side-lines, behind the curtains, for your time to be in the spotlight?

Whatever role God has given us in this life to witness on His behalf and to spread His Word; we’d better be ready because this is the most important task we’re ever asked to perform in this one life which we have.

Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 4:18-20.

  1. I've heard that William Shakespeare said that all the world is a stage and don't tell Manny but there's not too much that I know about him and what good would it do for me to read up on him anyway?...

I did look and learned that he had said it this way: "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages."

For what it is worth, I did ask GOD in prayer what this smart man might have tried to tell us by those words and long story short, spiritual reality speaking, it has something to do with the eyes of the soul...

Long story short! When a spiritual soul looks into the eyes of another soul in reality and knows about it, all of his alien cells are spiritually in reality on stage and every time he or she blinks, another of his most powerful spiritual angel of wordly life takes over and beware of that soul who's intention are not honourable without a backup and he or she blinks to often during their performances... Let's just say that it would be best to wish this person a broken leg before going on stage...

Remember that most business men and/or woman in reality know that whom ever blinks first usually loses in special deals...lol

Thanks for allowing me to share a little of what I think The Good Lord has allowed me to know...

    God Bless

  2. Yes, but unfortunately I get confused as to what exactly it IS I am supposed to be doing. Does this happen to you?

    1. Yes Mary. It does happen to me. Sometimes God just asks us to wait. The example by which we live is often enough.

Sometimes, I feel I just have to write something. Maybe He has someone in mind who needs to read it. A story/article comes to mind suddenly and it almost writes itself. On re-reading some of my posts or Father Ignatius stories i ask myself: Did I really write that?

God bless you Mary for your wonderful example.
