...in my life I've been many things, some good and a few no so good.
ReplyDeleteHopefully more good than not. God bless, Tom.
DeleteOkay Dude, that is a new one for me. Now to be sure I like the lyrics and thanks, but not sure if that is you or the Beatles singing. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove from the next coast over. & T hanks always for the prayers....
No I was not singing, Jack; just meditating on the lyrics. Very powerful words summarising many lives.
DeleteI wish you and yours well, now and always, and pray that God is with you blessing you always.
Wow, that brought back some memories of my youth!!! I never really thought about this song much, but I think now I could sing it as a song to Jesus. I know that's not what the Beatles meant, but still it is a very touching little song. Thank you for sharing it with us. Good song.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Pamela. The lyrics could be meant as a prayer rather than a song. It's the same with the Beatles' "Let it be". I used to play them when presenting Christian programs on the radio.
DeleteGod bless you and yours.
That's one of my favorite songs ever!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure you've seen the Amazon commercial where this song's featured, but it always stops me in my tracks.

I did not know that the AMAZON commercial with the three ladies sledging aired in the USA. It is the best Christmas advert this year over here. Whilst all other adverts in the UK telling you to buy buy buy; this one says it all with the music and without saying a word. The AMAZON logo is universal and whoever made that advert deserves a prize.
DeleteThank you, Mevely. God bless you, my friend.
Love that little doll! 😂
ReplyDeleteThat doll is me. It was knitted by my mother-in-law for my son when he was a baby.
DeleteGod bless, Sandi.
Great tune!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Bill. And good lyrics too. God bless you and your family.
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThanx. God bless, Kathy.
DeleteOne of my favorites, Victor, to be sure.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Mine too, Martha. God bless always.
DeleteThank you for sharing this song. My your Christmas season be truly a time of peace and blessings.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara. Wishing you and yours the best for Christmas and beyond. God bless you all.
DeleteThe Beatles salute sentiment in a very lovely way here.
ReplyDeleteI pray you and your family are having a blessed and beautiful Advent season.
Thank you, Mimi. Wishing you and your family a Blessed Christmas and wonderful New Year. God bless.
