DO NOT BE AFRAID
If we are honest, we have all been afraid at one time or another in our lives. Afraid about something that might happen to us, or to our loved ones. And our fear, whether warranted or not, weakens our faith in God our loving Father. This song should prove comforting when we are in such mental turmoil.

DeleteFear is what keeps us alive, it keeps us from dangerous situations, without fear we would not survive, it is God's way of watching over us...I do get it that we need not fear for our final day. The God that gave us fear will be for us at that time.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, JoeH.
DeleteGod bless, always.
I love that He cradles us when fear arises ...

Fear is a liar. Not the kind of fear that tells us not to run in front of a bus or grab a hot pot without a padding, but the kind of fear that tells us we are not worth being loved by our Heavenly Father. The fear of being left out of His love, or the amorphous fears we just get of the future, those kinds of fear, that fear is a liar.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, and the devil plays with those fears to lead us astray.
DeleteGod bless, Mimi.
