...Norman did it well.
ReplyDeleteGreat lyrics and music. God bless, Tom.
DeleteOf course, I was somewhat familiar with this song -- but never really listened to the lyrics until, a few years ago, I attended the funeral of an 'older' lady from church. At the gravesite they played what they said was her favorite song. I think we were all a little surprised, but came away with a new appreciation.
ReplyDeleteGreat lyrics. I like how they proclaim hope and faith.
DeleteWhat a wonderful tribute to that lady at her funeral.
God bless, Mevely.
I have nev er read that song before, great words...
ReplyDeleteThanks...
Indeed Anonymous. God bless you.
DeleteOne of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMine too, Debby. God bless.
DeleteThe only thing I disagree with in the lyrics is when he proclaims "Never been a sinner, never sinned." We all know that we're all sinners, Victor, and it's because of Jesus that we are forgiven. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteI hope he meant it as in once you have been forgiven it is like you never sinned.
I agree ... I took this to mean sinned against the 10 Commandments. But I take your point.
DeleteGod bless, Martha and Sandi.
Love this song!
ReplyDeleteYes, great lyrics.
DeleteGod bless, Sandi.
Love the song. Thanks for sharing it with us. It's been a while since I heard it!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see you here again, Pamela. I hope you are keeping well.
DeleteGod bless.
May we all be blessed to go to that good place at the end.
ReplyDeleteAmen Mimi. God bless.
