April 23, 2010 when this video got posted, was husband Pieter's 17th Birthday as an American! Will write about it in the future, a very nasty story... But I happily joined this great choir since but they have been non-active due to COVID... https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2018/12/loved-singing-in-handels-messiah.html At least Cliff Richard always has had backbone for daring to sing the way he did! It's good to know that you did some singing in the choir in the past. I am sure you will do again once we have got over the present virus crisis. It is so bad when people are bullied. It is often because bullies have an inferiority complex and are hiding their fears or hang-ups.
Cliff has been so courageous to continue with his career.

You're right; the media does attack him, I believe because of his Christian stand. His Millennium Prayer is a great song.
