    1. Cliff is a rock/pop singer who also announced in the 1960s that he is a Christian. People thought it would ruin his career. It did not.

      God bless, Tom.

  3. Hi Victor,
I have always loved Cliff Richards singing. He has often been persecuted wrongfully by the media, but they have not won. Have you heard him singing The Lord's Prayer - it is really beautiful. God bless.

    1. You're right; the media does attack him, I believe because of his Christian stand. His Millennium Prayer is a great song.

      God bless, Brenda.

    1. Hello Jan. How nice to hear from you again. I hope you are keeping well my friend. What a year it's been - but never mind. With hope in our hearts and trust in God all will be well again.

      God bless.

  6. Dearest Victor,
Yes, Cliff has been a great singer, actor and he actually dares to deliver a great message! April 23, 2010 when this video got posted, was husband Pieter's 17th Birthday as an American!
By the way, there are videos of me singing in the choir: https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2017/05/revue-2017-with-our-choir-memories-of.html
That was before I got bullied and not allowed to return. Will write about it in the future, a very nasty story...
But I happily joined this great choir since but they have been non-active due to COVID... https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2018/12/loved-singing-in-handels-messiah.html
At least Cliff Richard always has had backbone for daring to sing the way he did! So many people just talk but their actions are totally opposite. I'm more for actions and less for talking...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. It's good to know that you did some singing in the choir in the past. I am sure you will do again once we have got over the present virus crisis. It is so bad when people are bullied. It is often because bullies have an inferiority complex and are hiding their fears or hang-ups.

Cliff has been so courageous to continue with his career.

      God bless, Mariette.
