Yes, there is always a reason for 'Gary' to be a 'not nice' person, and it needs kindness and love, which he probably has never received, to cause him to change. If a cup is filled with honey it can only be honey that is drank from it. God bless.
We are born into sin Victor, that is why we have to BECOME a child of God. The sin is in the flesh and Jesus was the first to be born of the Spirit. He Who was without sin was made to be sin. In 2 Corinthians 5 v.21 it is stated that:- 'For He hath made him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him'.
Unfortunately, there are way too many Garys out there, Victor. Yet Jesus commands we love them, too. Not easy, but then again, the Lord never said it would be. Blessings!
Of course it is not easy, Martha. When they park in front of my drive blocking me in, when they cut me up and overtake on the road, when they park badly across two bays in the supermarket car park. Jesus said we should love everyone, but He did not drive, did He? Then there are all the other Gary's types at work, in the shops, in the street and even in our church. It's enough to make a Saint swear!
Deep down, i think Gary is really a very sad person, or very autistic and does not understand the effect he has on others. Yes, be kind, you will never regret taking that path.
Dearest Victor,
ReplyDeleteAll of a sudden there might show up a multitude of Gary-like persons in our lives...
Hugs,
Mariette
You are so right, Mariette. I know quite a few right now. It makes it very difficult to love as God commanded.

ReplyDeleteAre people born "not nice" or do they become that way?

Delete...we are often good at picking and choosing.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Tom. Good point.

Some people just need to be shown kindness in order for them to change.
ReplyDeleteI agree Lon. It is so nice to see you visiting here. Welcome. Please call again soon and often.
Deleteyeah, we all have Gary's in our lives.
ReplyDeleteoh to speak the truth in love, to show compassion and grace.
i'm guessing Gary's hurting a whole lot inside ...
Why does he share his hurting with the rest of us? We all have our own share of hurting already.
DeleteGod bless, Linda.
Ha ha! Wise. 😄
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you here again, Sandi. Thanx.

DeleteGod bless, my friend.
Gary pops up everywhere these days.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Brian. And we're supposed to be nice to them.
DeleteGod bless always.
Gary needs some love and kindness but he sure can be a pain.
ReplyDeleteI love Gary from a distance. Like I love the sun. All Garys should emigrate somewhere else.
DeleteGod bless, Bill.
And there is possibly tar and feathers in Gary's future.
ReplyDeleteWith his attitude like that I doubt he has much of a future. If Garys were nice the world would be a nicer place to live in.
DeleteGod bless, Susan.
I sure try! :)
ReplyDeleteAmen, Happyone.

Yep, I know the feeling. Great cartoon ... so much so, I'm sharing. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing, Mevely. Let us all be kind to one another.
DeleteGod bless you.
Thanks for the reminder. I have a couple of Gary's in my life.
ReplyDeleteGarys are everywhere, it seems.
DeleteGod bless, Kathy.
