God's Blueprint

I asked a Christian doctor friend of mine about his religion and his profession. He explained that being a doctor is very much like being a car mechanic. He learnt about different parts of the body and how to fix them when they go wrong.

However, unlike a car mechanic, he does not have the complete blueprint plan of how the body was made and how it functions. He explained that, thankfully, the Creator decided to keep some parts of the blueprint secret in case we humans ruin the final product completely.

What do you think?

  1. I think that doctors can be helpful in certain areas, but it depends on what the situation is and what God has said about it. What comes to my mind is 2 Chronicles ch. 16 vs 12 and 13 which reads:-'In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians. Then in the forty-first year of his reign Asa died and rested with his ancestors.' Sometimes when we seek the Lord over a sickness issue it can be far more powerful than when we go to the physician. For what man can not do - God can do.

  5. Dearest Victor,
Doctors can of course save lives but after all it is a paid job... The one relation of LOVE with our Creator overlaps all that, is even larger than any human love. So God is our ultimate Healer; if we only go to him.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  6. Brilliant! I don't think our Father would want us getting too full of ourselves.

    1. That's right, Mevely. That is why there will always be things hidden to humanity. No matter how much we think we know, we don't know much more than that.

      God bless you.

  8. God's blueprint cannot be improved upon! What a great job He did.
God gave the doctors the ability to heal us. They could't do it without Him but God CAN heal without doctors.

  9. I’m sure God had the foresight to see what a mess we would make of a planet created in perfection. So, yes I agree that keeping some things out of our reach
is a blessing. Thanks, Victor for sharing this with us. Blessings.

  10. The final blueprint is the Master's hand...where it belongs. So thankful He had given us doctors a section of it!!

  11. Grandpa the doctor would agree that there's no way we know everything, and that life is sacred.

    1. Yes, life is very sacred. It is not a product to be decided upon by others.
