I remember them, I knew they'd just be a flash in the pan.
ReplyDeleteYes ... pity they did not last long.
DeleteGod bless, JoeH.
Yes, those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end.
ReplyDeleteYes Terri. Those were the days. Written/produced by Paul McCartney. Sung (in the UK) by Mary Hopkin in 1968.
DeleteGod bless.
Simpler times!
ReplyDeleteIndeed Sandi.
DeleteGod bless you.
It's yesterday once more ....
ReplyDeleteThat was The Carpenters in 1973; if I remember rightly. Wonderful song, Mevely. Just wonderful.
DeleteGod bless, my friend.
I remember when it seemed simple(r). Even then - - - and that's another topic.
ReplyDeleteOK ... I'll agree it may have seemed simpler back then; answers to life's questions were more black and white rather than blurred with new speak and jargon and half-truths as it is now. People knew right from wrong.
DeleteGod bless you, Brian.
Good music … and yes, in so many ways life seemed simpler back then.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Everything was simpler then. Yes meant yes and no meant no. Everything was clearer in black and white. Even TV was in black and white as I remember. And the pop singers like The Beatles, The Stones and others were well dressed. Notice how they all wore ties.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Jan.
