Did you know that in Britain about 36% of people take their pets with them in bed at night?
Not me ... ... ...
The last time I had my pet with me in bed the next morning the bed was totally soaking wet and my goldfish had died.

That's too bad for the goldfish. Our dogs just left enough room to let us slide in at night. It was their bed and they gave us permission to share it with them. Never had a wet problem. :)
ReplyDeleteDogs are good companions. Ours follows us everywhere in the house.
DeleteGod bless, Bill.
All our dogs were outdoor dogs. I don't know. I can see that happening.
ReplyDeleteWe've always kept our dogs indoor. Some dogs prefer to be outdoors though.
DeleteGod bless, Susan.
Well at least you left your snapping turtle in the pond...I hope :)

Yes you're right. The snapping turtle remained in the pond at all times. Safe for me. We also have frogs outdoors.
DeleteGod bless you, Jan.
Hahaha! Our dog sleeps in the kitchen. He's probably hoping for someone to stumble in for a late night snack & drop some food on the floor.
ReplyDeleteOur dog too. He sleeps in his bed in the room next to the kitchen. We hear him patrol every so often downstairs during the night and then goes back to his bed.
DeleteGod bless you always, Chris.
Hahaha ... I didn't see that coming. Rough day; as ever, I appreciate your prayers!
ReplyDeletePraying for you and yours right now, Mevely. Trust in God.
DeleteGod bless.
That wasn't too smart Victor! : )
ReplyDeleteNo it wasn't. Just as well I did not have the bigger tank in bed ... the one with the shark in it.
DeleteGod bless, Happyone.
Years ago, when I had both a cat and a dog, the cat would sleep on one side of me and the dog on the other. I felt like the meat in a pet sandwich!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about that goldfish, Victor. :)
Blessings!
Yes, I was sad about the goldfish. I had him grilled on toast with tomatoe ketchup.
DeleteGod bless, Martha.
Perhaps if you had got up and gone to the bathroom Victor the goldfish's water would not have been contaminated :-) Our darling pussycat sleeps in her bed in our bedroom but also comes up on our bed to talk to my husband. You would not believe how they talk to one another, I will have to record it one day.
ReplyDeleteThe Wonder Dog sleeps under the cover in the winter. He's like having your own personal heater next to you. Goldfish in the bed--THANKFULLY you don't have an electric blanket. You would have all been toast!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Haha! I didn't see that coming!
ReplyDeleteLooking back as a child we had quite a few goldfish. I can't remember how long they lived - but I do know each year we went to a fair and won one there! I don't know if they have those sort of side-stalls now! Times and regulations have changed!
Hope your week is going well Victor.
All the best Jan
Sometimes the cats give us room, and sometimes we have to throw them out of the room!
