Monkey Survey

Hi, my name is Bonzo Bookshelf Jr. a.k.a. Times New Roman. Victor's editor and Blog Agent. My job is to administer and promote his Blog and to seek improvements where needed. And this is where you come in; his loyal and faithful readers. I should be grateful if you could spend a few minutes completing this short survey either here in the Comments box, or by writing to enquiries@holyvisions.co.uk

1    Do you visit this Blog regularly and if so why?

2    Which "type" of articles do you like reading? Christian, Humour, Music, Spoken Recordings, Others (specify).

3    Which kind of articles would you like less of?

4    And more of?

5    Or new style of articles not included here, like recipes, travel, solo synchronised swimming lessons.

6    On a scale of 1 to 10 (1=low - 10 = high) what would you score this Blog?

7    What would you suggest to improve it?

8    Would you recommend this Blog to other people?

9    Do you think it is fair that Victor pays me in peanuts?

10  Do you like peanuts and do you want a job?

    1. No, just peanuts. He buys his own bananas, or gets a bonus depending on the number of surveys completed.

      God bless, Tom.

  3. Dearest Victor,
Well, guess I'm just a loyal reader!
It is hard at times to read the very lengthy stories—like being forced to read a book.
Would love to see some favorite 'other' blog list on your side bar.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. Thank you Mariette. I'll try not to make my posts too long; although sometimes it is necessary to make a point. I do not have a Blog list on the side bar because I do not want to show favouritism. I visit all Bloggers who visit here and enjoy what they write. They are all equally important and valued by me. That's why I pray for all who visit here.

Sorry for this long comment. I felt it is important to respond to your concerns. Thank you fro your loyalty and support of my writings.

      God bless you and Pieter.

    2. Victor, it is not about favouritism but in your own interest for cross–connecting and therefore ranking higher in search engines! Now your blog is only showing very limited web presence: bit.ly/3XS7AhC

    3. I am not sure I understand, Mariette. Are you saying if I have a list of other Bloggers' Blogs on the right my rankings will increase? How and why is that?

I'll ask my techie to explain. Thank you for your advice.

      God bless.

  5. What? I don't have that many, but yours is one of my 'must visits' each day. I've learned more from your common-sense, easy to understand Christian lessons than I have while sitting in a sanctuary.
The ONLY thing I'd like to read sometime is to learn more about you. Gosh, we Americans are so candid about our lives, it's difficult not to know more about those we hold dear. Please forgive if I'm overstepping. I do value your friendship and count you in my prayers.

    1. Thank you for your kind and generous comments, Mevely, and for your loyal visits. I really appreciate our friendship and enjoy so much reading your Blog too.

About myself ... let me explain. When I first went into print with my first book "VISIONS", the publisher wanted a photo and a write-up about myself for the back cover. They said most books have such photos and summaries. I hesitated because I am not a public person and I felt the message in my book (and others since) is more important than the author. This was before I started this Blog which I was advised to start to publicise my writings.

That's why I don't say much about myself here, or publish photos. However, a certain percentage of what I say in my stories is true - especially if you read ABOUT THE AUTHOR above and the link at the end of that article.

Rest assured though that you are not overstepping and that I value your friendship and prayers more than you could imagine.

God bless you and your family always.

    1. I doubt it. He is not doing a good job for me. I've asked him several times to increase my readership and he has failed. Can you help, Linda?

      God bless always.

  8. You know I'm a regular here, Victor. You can't get rid of me, even if a monkey is your uncle. :) Love the Christian reflections, your humor, and Fr. Ignatius stories the best. Keep doing what you're doing!
    Blessings!

    1. Thank you Martha for your loyalty and support and for your friendship. I'll try and post more Fr Ignatius stories; hopefully new ones, or some from my published books.

I hope to also publish more Christian articles because I feel there is a world-trend away from Christianity.

God bless you and your family always. I'm off to visit your Blog right now on my regular visits.

  11. I read every time a new post appears in my blog feed.

I like all the types. Even if i don't always agree with every word of some posts, i like that we can discuss things in the comments in a nice way and still be "blog friends."

Variety is the spice of life, i like the variety. If you want to post recipes or about travel, that would be fine with me. I quit swimming a long while back.

My score for this blog is a 10, and don't ask me about improving things, most stuff that gets "improved" is useless once the "improvements" are finished.

    Yes, i recommend this blog.

You might ask for bananas and salads, just peanuts wouldn't be quite enough, and i already have a job, thank you.

    1. Thanx Kathy. I'll try to make the posts shorter, although at times this is not possible without losing the essence of the story/article.
