If there is a song that personalises YOU.
A song that defines YOU.
A song that is YOU.
What would it be?
My Way by Sinatra?
You'll never walk alone from Carousel?
The Impossible Dream from Man Of La Mancha?
Or what other song?
HERE'S MINE

...Victor, thanks for the cuckles.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoyed it Tom. God bless.
Deletegood songs
ReplyDeleteThanx Christine. God bless.
DeleteGiggling!
ReplyDeleteOkay, in all seriousness, I love to ponder these sorts of things. To define my life by song would practically fill a juke-box. The first things to pop in my head, however, are: Against the Wind (Bob Seger) and Why Me (Kris Kristofferson).
Very powerful lyrics in both songs. I love "Why me Lord" by Kristofferson and also by Cliff Richard.
DeleteThank you, Mevely. You certainly got me thinking. God bless you.
What a great song, Victor! 😂 That is TOTALLY you.
ReplyDeleteMy song? I think I'll go with the Mission Impossible theme song. It plays while I clean the house, secret-agently.
Yes, I too like the Mission Impossible theme tune.
DeleteMy song was made famous by a comedy radio (and then TV) show featuring Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and Michael Bentine. They were known as the Goons and were favourites of King Charles. Later Bentine left the radio programmes. Some say the Goons were the forerunners of Monty Python; or perhaps the three-runners after Bentine left.
God bless you, Sandi.
FRANKIE LAINE - 1950 The call of the Wild goose. I never remembered the accent untill I just called it up on you tube. But that defines my life, My heart goes where the wild goose goes and I'm a brother to the old wild goose. ;-) But your song? Methinks it proves you are certifiable... ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove you brother and thanks for your prayers....
Sherry & jack
Hey ... I love that song you chose. Remember Frankie's "Rawhide", "High Noon" and "I believe"? Great songs and a great singer.
DeleteThank you Jack. Best wishes and prayers to you and Sherry. God bless you and your family.
This is the craziest song I've ever heard, Victor! Yes, I'd say it reflects your incredible, wacky sense of humor. :) I've never thought of being defined by a song; I'll have to reflect on that.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Yes, the song typifies the style of radio/TV comedy of the Goons (1951/60 on radio). I guess I find humour in the most unusual places - it got me in trouble at work.
DeleteGod bless you, Martha.
LOL, that is so you Victor.
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you liked my song, Bill.
DeleteGod bless.
Dearest Victor,
ReplyDeleteThat was a different genre all together...
As for me I'd love this the MOST: I Believe SATB - Mark Miller - CGA1310

A wonderful rendition of "I believe", Mariette. Great lyrics.
DeleteGod bless.
We sang it with our choir and the composer wrote it in honor of his sister—touching and very meaningful Victor!
DeleteFor me I'd pick the hymn, Happy Am I.
ReplyDeleteA good hymn, Happyone. God bless.
DeleteThat certainly was entertaining, like you.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful songs, i am not sure i could choose just one. One my heart returns to again and again is the simple children's classic, Jesus Loves Me.
Yes, Jesus loves you always and at all times.
DeleteGod bless, Mimi.
I have many songs in my long favourites list ...
ReplyDeleteYour choice of 'The Ying Tong Song' made me laugh.
All the best Jan
I need laughter in my life; we all do.
DeleteGod bless, Jan.
