Hello Victor: I think anyone that sings even out of tune is amazing, so many people are afraid to take the plunge and sing, I see many people singing in cars and trucks, it warms my heart to know they are enjoying themselves even if they sing out of tune.
I like singing, Catherine. Our church choir master suggested I stand at the back and mime the hymns. One day I missed rehearsals and everyone thought they'd fixed the organ.

DeleteI tell people my husband sings in the choir and I help the choir by not singing. I think you can say you help the choir the same way.
