What are your secret habits?

What are your secret habits?

Before you switch off, or go away, let me quickly explain that I am not asking you what you do in the privacy of your home, (unless you WANT to tell me).

No ... I am asking you something completely different, and I would like your honest answers.

Look at the cartoon above. The wife wants something whereas the husband is busy with something else entirely different.

I'm sure many of you have had such occasions in your lives.

If I am to be a good host of this Blog I need to know what you enjoy reading here and what you do not. It is pointless me offering you tea and biscuits if you want a burger and beer. We drink beer warm in the UK, but for you I'll put some in the fridge.

So please answer these questions as honestly as you can.

1     Do you always comment when you visit here?

2     I reply to each comment made, and pray for that person too. Do you return to check on my replies?

3     Do you ever click on the suggested "You might also like" links at the bottom of the post?

4     Do you ever click the tabs at the top of the page to see what you might be missing?

5     Do you click on the links on the right hand side of this column?

That's it !!! I think that's all for now. Thank you for your answers.

Oh one more thing ... in case we should meet, do you prefer beer or wine?

  1. 1. No
    2. Yes
    3. Yes, but only if there's time
    4. Already did
    5. Did that too. :)

Either ~ I'm ambidextrous when it involves alcohol.

If feeling discouraged, I get that way too in bloggy land. I have 90 followers and only about 3 or 4 of y'all ever comment. No problem. I write for myself anyway ... and the voices in my head. *giggle*

Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

    1. Thank you so much Sparky for your replies. They are most helpful to me in designing and keeping up this Blog. Statistics show that I am getting at the moment over 80% first time visitors. I am of course glad and grateful for return visitors like you; and the comments you leave here. Stats also show that each post I put here at the moment is getting over 125 visitors in the first 24 hours or so. So I need to check how often I post - daily or just every other day.

Your responses are of great help; and should we ever meet I'd be glad to buy you a beer and a glass of wine.

God bless you and thank you for your support.

    2. I think what all our blogs need is a "like" button so visitors may leave that kind of 'comment'. As far as saying something, it's like what Dana Perino said on Fox News once, "Why do I have to have an opinion about everything?" She's right. As long as folks read my writings, I'm humbled by the fact they're even interested. No need to say something. That's cool. Besides we may not agree on everything, that's cool too. I just can't take vitriolic responses or attitudes. It's soooo unnecessary. Boy, this turned into a blog. Sorry.
Thanks for the invite! My husband and I would be honored to share a pint with you any 'ol day pal.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

    3. Well said, Sparky. We don't have to comment every time. I sometimes, when visiting new Blogs just say: "Greetings. God Bless." just to show that I have been there. It encourages Bloggers that they are not writing to themselves. I'm so glad when you and others write, Sparky. Also, as I said above, I pray for those who comment here; so it's an extra chance to get a quick prayer said for you to the Almighty.

I wish you and your husband were not so far away; we could share a beer or a Guinness.

God bless you and your husband.

    No--sorry I don't

Have in the past- not recently

WINE-Victor or very cold beer in hot weather only---and only occasionally for both-but meeting you would definitely qualify as an occasion!

    Blessings!

    1. Thank you Lulu for these answers. I'm trying to improve this Blog and to make sure it is what readers want to see here. I don't want to put too much clutter that detracts from the main posts. The tabs at the top give readers opportunities to read old posts they may have missed.

It would be great to meet sometime. Pity the UK is so far away from everywhere else. I have relatives in Australia which is so far I have never been there to meet them. I understand they left the UK to be away from me.

God bless you and your family.
