DeleteTea houses were popular in years gone by in the UK. We still have a few privately owned rather than big company chains. The one near us serves tea and scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. It is near a garden centre where people go to buy various plants and sit down to relax. These days, they have coffee and hot chocolate too, and fizzy drinks.
God bless you and yours.
I'll have to add it to my reading list, sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill. I hope you find the story exciting as well as interesting.
