...thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed this video, Tom.
DeleteGod bless always.
I needed to laugh this morning, Victor! Thanks for taking me there.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year.
It's good to laugh, and start the New Year as we aim to go on.
DeleteGod bless, Linda.
Dearest Victor,
ReplyDeleteYou've received an email with a photo of Pieter standing next to a sign of Oliver Hardy, Genius of Comedy.
Taken by my friend from The Netherlands when we did the historic tour of Madison in north Georgia.
Oliver Hardy is born in Harlem, Georgia on January 18, 1892 and they'd moved to Madison where his Mom opened a hotel named The Hardy House...
So you see, a small world after all!
But that duo caused a lot of good, healthy laughter!
Something we need more of.
Hugs,
Mariette
PS that was May 3, 2008...
ReplyDeleteThank you Mariette. What a lovely photo and a good souvenir. Laurel and Hardy were a great team together providing laughter and joy to many. Something lacking a little these days.
DeleteGod bless you and Pieter always.
Glad you got it Victor and it is oh so windy and cold here; a complete change in weather after a very rough night with wind gusts. LOTS of rain yesterday. Painters have not yet come... When will they EVER finish?
DeleteHugs and stay bundled up!
This winter seems to be dragging along for longer than usual. Always grey and damp.
DeleteGod bless, Mariette.
Top comedians in my time. I hate it when those past on have their reputations 'smeared' by things like "THE TRUTH ABOUT LAUREL AND HARDY". I admired their professional work as a team. Their choice in life was to make others laugh AND THEY DID! I laughed today, I had never seen these skits before. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLife is good
Sherry & jack cooling it in Florida
I agree, Jack. What is the point of making programs that ruin/spoil peoples' reputations.
DeleteI used to enjoy Laurel & Hardy on TV.
God bless you and Sherry.
LOL, love these guys!
ReplyDeleteGreat dancers too!
DeleteGod bless, Bill.
I miss the clean comedy of yesteryear! Thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed this video, Mevely.
DeleteGod bless always.
The music brought back sweet memories of my grammar school times, thank you! And I quite enjoyed the dancing scene.
ReplyDeleteGreat song from the Rolling Stones. One of their best.
DeleteGod bless, Ladka.
I too say, thanks for the laughs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Laughter is a good diet.
DeleteGod bless Jan.
I've always enjoyed them. A great team.
ReplyDeleteGood clean fun.
DeleteGod bless you, Happyone.
Those two can always bring a smile to my face. Have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteGreat comedians, along with Charles Chaplin, Buster Keaton and the Marx Brothers.
DeleteGod bless, Mimi.
That was very funny. I haven't seen Laurel and Hardy for many years now.
ReplyDeleteAlways a favourite of mine.
DeleteGod bless you, River.
I don't know why they stopped showing their movies, used to be quite common on TV. Their humor lasts through times.
ReplyDeleteYou are right JoeH. The old movies were a lot of fun compared to today's comedy.
DeleteGod bless you and yours.
