Antique Guitar

Medieval antique guitar found in abandoned fridge on top of an oak tree in a meadow somewhere very far from here some years ago. Granted, not an excellent provenance, but it was dark and raining at the time. However, a medieval minstrel was noticed leaving the scene riding a motorbike moments earlier singing a lyric dating back to Chaucer's era.

  3. What a treasure! I used my phone's 'Lens' (app) feature to try and identify its origins ... lots of look-alikes, including one on eBay selling for $299! "Old Native American Canadian Indian Inuit Eskimo Aleut Wooden String Instrument." Item #233207192201.

    1. WOW ... you are clever. I did not know you could do this. Is the App just for certain phones? Or can it be used on a computer too?

This particular guitar belongs to a friend of mine. I just took a photo and invented the rest to make up today's Blog post.

      Thanx Mevely. God bless you.

    2. I THINK it's just for phones -- both Android and Apple. Mine came with it already (in the camera feature) but I had to download it from Google Play apps for Tom's. It's a fun toy!

    3. Thank you, Mevely. I'll ask my techie to check if my phone can have this App. The phone is so old the instructions are in Latin.

      God bless always.

  4. Oops - trying again to out-wit the ravenous blog gobbler.

I used my phone's 'Lens' app to try and identify that instrument and this was the closest match (on eBay). Old Native American Canadian Indian Inuit Eskimo Aleut Wooden String Instrument -- $299. Item #233207192201.
    You've a treasure there!

    1. Many thanx once again, my friend.

I hope you enjoyed my playing and singing. You don't get talent like that at Carnegie Hall or the Albert Hall in London. Not even at the London Palladium.

      God bless, Mevely.

  5. I do love the story you came up with for the source of this "guitar", Victor. I've never seen anything quite like it. Blessings!

    1. I was shown this guitar recently. It is very unusual and I did not know, until Mevely explained, what it was. So I invented a story to link it to this Blog post. Also, to entertain my readers with my talent in singing.

      Thanx Martha. God bless you.

    1. The guitar is $299 from eBay. My singing is free, unless you happen to see me singing in the mall and your donations would be welcome.

      Keep smiling, Bill. God bless.

    1. It's on eBay, Mimi. The guitar my friend has is not for sale. But my singing will be on a CD in the pop charts soon.

      God bless.

    1. No ... no ... Brenda ... I've been told my singing frightens the wildlife for miles around.

Thank you for your good works evangelising in the streets. God bless you.
