An E-Mail from God!

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behaviour that was going on. So He called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.

When he returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not.

God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.'

So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time. When the angel returned he went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true. The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good.'

God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because He wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them keep going.

Do you know what the e-mail said?

Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either!!!

  2. Hi Mary and Karinann,

I've checked both my e-mail addresses - no Divine e-mails. Someone must have received the e-mail.

    God bless.

  3. I think the 95% need the email of encouragement more than the good people. How often do we do something good and never hear any feedback? Hey maybe that's why God would email the 5%! Now I am confusing myself so I'll say goodbye. Wonderful story!

  4. Greetings Sue,

I've yet to find someone who got the e-mail.

The thing is ... He's sent us a message through the Bible instead!

    God bless.

  8. Hello All,
I GOT THE eMAIL!!! It read:
We have all sinned and come short of the Grace of God. I will no longer send the angels because they keep returning with news about the 5%; I send you MY SON instead because I am more interested in the 95% [or 99 out of 100 sheep].He came, we crucified him, and his Blood paid our debt and bought our ransom. May we so live that his death will not be in vain. Amen.

[I love this space...it makes me pray. God bless you, and all who stop by]
