I cannot tell

I heard this hymn for the first time on TV the other day.

Does anyone know it, or heard of it before?

  1. Beautiful hymn, Victor. Sung to O Danny Boy, right? Both beautiful songs!

    2. It always drives me crazy when I recognize a melody and can't place it. It took me a few minutes to figure out why this hymn sounded so familiar :)
      God bless you too!

  3. Yes, knew the tune immediately. I noticed the chorus was different each verse. Certainly tells the gospel story!

    Blessed Sabbath, Victor!

  4. That's the first time that I've also ever heard this song you posted containing such beautiful prayerful words.

Whow, I must be getting old because I've heard OH Danny Boy many of times when I was younger... I found it oh so very sad especially when I saw a friend's uncle who was named Danny crying while it was being played... long story short, his Canadian Dad use to sing it to him before he lost his life during WW TWO.

    God Bless
