Till the rivers all run dry
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you.
I know sometimes you may wonder
From little things I say and do
But there's no need for you to wonder
If I need you, 'cause I'll need you.
Till the rivers all run dry
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you.
[Instrumental]
Too many times I don't tell you
Too many things get in the way
And even though sometimes I hurt you
Still you show me, in every way.
Till the rivers all run dry
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you...
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you.
I know sometimes you may wonder
From little things I say and do
But there's no need for you to wonder
If I need you, 'cause I'll need you.
Till the rivers all run dry
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you.
[Instrumental]
Too many times I don't tell you
Too many things get in the way
And even though sometimes I hurt you
Still you show me, in every way.
Till the rivers all run dry
Till the sun falls from the sky
Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you...
Beautiful!

An interesting response on my blog. Forgiveness! I hope you will write more about that.
DeleteI have written extensively about forgiveness in this Blog, Sandi. Perhaps a useful post is this one:
Deletehttps://timeforreflections.blogspot.com/2010/08/as-i-forgave-you.html
You see, we are all asked by Christ to forgive. But it is easier said than done. The bigger the hurt done to us the more we find it difficult to forgive, because the slightest memory brings all the pain back again. We see something or someone, we physically feel the pain, we witness the hurt done to others and all the bad memories come flooding back. And with them, an element of resentment. Why did that person get away with the evil they did? He did not even ask or care for forgiveness. And yet, we still hurt.
Hence the question on your Blog. If only we could forgive. Totally. With no comeback or bad memories. Total forgiveness as God does for us.
God bless, Sandi.
I used to have that record (the Vogues)! Absolutely, I love this version; who is that singing?
ReplyDeleteWishing you a blessed day, Victor!
It's the great late Don Williams R.I.P.
DeleteWishing you a splendidly blessed day, Mevely, to you and yours.
God bless.
Wonderful inspiration today, Victor. Thank you!

Aw, Kevin and I LOVE this song! Don Williams was one of our favorite singers. He was one of the greats, and this song is so beautiful. Really, all of his songs are top-notch. So thankful you shared it today! It broke our hearts when Don passed away. So thankful hiw music lives on through people like you who share and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI do love Country music, Cheryl. This song is like a prayer.
DeleteGod bless you and your family.
Thank you for visiting my blog. This is a lovely song; I did not know it. I believe there is another hymn with a similar title.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny. It's really super to see you visiting here today. Thanx. Please call again soon and often. And invite your friends.
DeleteI'll have to look out for that hymn.
God bless.
To answer your question of why people shoot groundhogs. They are a garden pest and eat the growing vegetables.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginny for returning to let me know. I did not know that. I guess it's like in the UK with rabbits eating crops, or foxes attacking chickens and other fowl.
DeleteGod bless you, my friend.
Such a pretty song.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi.
