Thanx Linda, I hope you and your husband enjoy this short piece from my radio programs. Other pieces at the top of this page - click on REFLECTIONS SOUNDTRACKS.
Thank you so much Mevely for your kind words. The world is in a bad state right now; I guess it's because a lot of people just don't care for their fellow man. I've put some of my recordings in a folder - see: REFLECTION SOUNDTRACKS above. I hope to post other recordings here in future.
Such wonderful, reflective songs, Victor, and just what I needed to hear today. The last two brought back some rich memories for me. Was it Glen Campbell singing the 2nd song? Thanks so much for sharing and brightening my day! Blessings!
Thanx Martha. I'm so glad today's post spoke to you.
Yes, it was the great Glen Campbell singing the second song. I used to play many of his records on my radio shows. Here's Fr Francis with the same song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fk8oqP7Ytcc
They don't make radio shows like this any more. I miss them. They were so soothing and faith filled. Did you play these in England? I didn't picture this kind of radio show being played in England. Sounds very American to me.
Yes it was in Britain, Manny. Many years ago. Life has changed over the years with people becoming more secular, more "enlightened", more "modern" and less believing.
i'm going to tune in after my husband wakes up.
ReplyDeletei'm not sure how he'd respond if he heard your booming tones right about now!
have a blessed day, Victor ...

I love those songs, they bring back memories. Great lyrics and they are still relevant today and probably will always be. Thanks, Victor!
