Welcome to Hell

FIVE MINUTES VIDEO

 Welcome to hell

Well, I hope that the introduction to this recording has frightened you about hell as much as it has frightened me.

Because whatever you conceive it to be hell does exist all right. It may be an ever-burning everlasting fire mixed with the acrid smell of burning flesh and sulphur.

Or it may be just a state of consciousness in the total absence of God's presence and love.

Do you know … when I was at school many moons ago a school boy described hell as being upside down for eternity in a pile of manure.

Now there's an image you'd probably never thought of. But as sure as hell exists we can be certain that the devil exists also. He is not just a euphemism for evil, wickedness and wrongdoings.

He is a living being with us here right now. Every day; and intent on the destruction of all souls.

As Christians we cannot possibly believe in God and not believe in the devil.

Yet sadly for us, and fortunately for him, he has been cleverly airbrushed away from our Sermons, and our churches, and our lives.

When is the last time you heard a sermon on Sunday about the dangers of the devil?

I haven't for at least a lifetime. Yet the devil belongs to the priest’s sermon as surely as God does.

You wouldn't expect to drive on a perilous road without any warning signs of sharp bends steep hills and blind corners, would you?

Yet we seem happy to live our lives oblivious of the very existence of a cunning and dangerous enemy ever eager to lead us to damnation when we least expect it.

There are indeed people who believe in the devil to the point of worshipping him.

Whilst I cannot understand why anyone should wish to do so, at least I acknowledge their honesty in so doing; which is more honest than the millions of so-called Christians who attend church every Sunday yet don't know exactly what to believe.

The Catholic Church, amongst other churches, has trained and appointed priests exorcists to combat the spread of Satanism. Well at least the church believes in the devil and is prepared to do something about it.

But has every Christian I wonder received this message loud and clear?

And if not, then surely it is evidence of the success of the devil himself.

Are there millions of Christians, I wonder, sleepwalking their way into hell?

Thank you for listening. God bless

  1. NOT a very nice invitation is it..?
The devil is the personification of evil as it is
conceived in various cultures and religious
    traditions...
It is seen as the objectification of a hostile and
    destructive force...

And do we know the names of the seven devils..?
    So..Also the seven deadly sins..
    Lucifer: pride.
    Mammon: greed.
    Asmodeus: lust.
    Leviathan: envy.
    Beelzebub: gluttony.
    Satan: wrath.
    Belphegor: sloth.

    Finally..I must confess..l don't really approve of
such video's or the written word above...
Sorry..But the fear of God comes to mind, it's
o.k. for the adults and the elderly perhaps, but,
l worry about the children reading and listening
    to it..
    Suffer little children....Amen!

  3. I've heard some people say, we're all experiencing hell right now, here on earth. Personally, I don't agree -- who can begin to comprehend the endless anguish you've illustrated. Yes, the devil is roaming freely among us; we need to clothe ourselves in the armor of God every day.

    1. You are right, Mevely. The devil is roaming amongst us and causing havoc throughout the world. Yet people are oblivious and intent on enjoying every last bit which they consider is their right in this life. They don't even believe in eternity ... in hell.

      God bless you and yours.

  5. As usual you have worded the subject well, but I particularly appreciated this line: .... Yet sadly for us, and fortunately for him, he has been cleverly airbrushed away from our Sermons, and our churches, and our lives..........
One should appreciate the term 'airbrushed'.
Now what ever the personal discomfort one sees in HELL, it is strange that some would embrace it by saying "Most of my friends will be there so it will be home."
A sad idea to displace the 'Pain and suffering.'

sending good thoughts across the waters. ;-) Love your way!

    1. Thank you so much for your kindness to me and your support of my writings, Jack.

Sadly, I feel that modern thinking has airbrushed the devil from our consciousness. He is no longer seen or believed to be a threatening spirit roaming the earth to lead us astray from God. Most people probably don't even believe he exists. What perfect camouflage we have made for him.

God bless you and Sherry my dear friends.

  6. Narrow is the way to life, and wide is the path to destruction. The Enemy is real, and very, very frightening. He cannot win, and i believe he knows it, but he can take as many down with his ship as possible, and that's a sad and scary thing.

    1. The devil is real, but not taught enough in our schools, our families and our churches. Many new generations are growing not knowing of his existence. That's why I wrote the book "Searching For God".

      God bless, Mimi.

  7. Dearest Victor,
WOW, that was cleverly done and so very well worded. Got to hear your spoken message as the #44.
Indeed there seems to be nowadays more emphasis on earning free miles to HELL + Bonus Points.
Well, they think that those 'pleasures' are added Bonus Points but in reality they make you go to HELL even faster!
It will be crowded in there and there will be a lot of gnashing of teeth and those arriving toothless will shed tears!
You are so right about NO effective warning about HELL as an eternal destiny.
    Eternal is quite long...
We only have a limited time frame for working on our forever destiny.
    May God help us all!
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. The video tape is a recording I had done years ago when I was on the radio. So glad you liked it Mariette.

There will certainly be a lot of gnashing of teeth in hell; and those arriving without teeth will be given dentures as they come in so they can gnash happily ever after.

      God bless, Mariette.

  9. Oh Victor, the devil is so evil and so crafty. As long as he can steal a soul he is happy. I Learned about him from an old school Catholic priest when I was in the second grade. I have feared him since that time but also learned I am covered in the blood of Jesus and I can tell him so! I came here to ask you to pray for our son Nick. We thought he was anemic and some iron would help. But he saw his PCP and he is more concerned. Nick was to statr a new job on May 18 and he does not have any insurance. I would greatly appreciate your prayers. Thank you.

  10. You have written this well Victor. The spiritual enemy is very cunning, and that is why it is so important to take every thought captive and bring it into obedience to the Word spoken to us each daily on our journey with the Lord in this testing world.
