      You are right, Jack. Father Ignatius in my novels is based on the kindness of Father Francis and two or three other priests I have been privileged to know over the years. Some of the short stories in my books actually happened to those priests.

      He is a popular singer raising money for charity by singing in shopping centres and bus stations. Over £1m raised for charity.

    You'll Never Walk Alone is one of my favourite songs, I have the version by Gerry and the Pacemakers on my playlists. I like this slightly different version of Imagine too.
