  2. I love to see pictures of snow at Christmas. But in my 80+ Christmases probably 10 have been white. Will you have snow over there? The few times we anchored at Spithead were in summer I think.

    1. The weather reports keep saying it will snow, but nothing yet. There has been some heavy snow in Scotland and the North of England recently with power outage. It is very cold right now. The water in the bird baths in the garden was frozen this morning.

Keep warm, Jack. God bless you and Sherry.

  3. Dearest Victor,
For sure no white Christmas here...
Yesterday both of us were discussing the fact that songs like the above seem to be more popular than e.g. the wonderful original German Stille Nacht Heilige Nacht or Holy Night...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. I like the hymns like Holy Night and similar. But as you say, they are not so popular these days. We had Santa on his sleigh visiting last week. They were collecting for charity calling door-to-door.

      God bless Mariette and Pieter.

  4. Love Santa's back-up singers!!!
I've been dreaming of a White Christmas for years -- just like the ones I used to know. No luck, but that won't stop me from dreaming.

  7. Our Christmas Day weather is projected to be 80 degrees F and sunny. No white Christmas here in the swamps, but we don't expect that anyway.

A blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas to you!

  9. Hi Victor,
we are on the coast of the Irish sea, and don't have snow here - at least not since we have been living here. God bless.

  10. A white Christmas would be lovely, indeed, Victor, but our temps are predicted to be in the low 70s on Christmas Day. Don't think we'll get any of the white stuff!
    Blessings!
