Have you got a credit card?

It's been a long time since I played you a Country & Western song. Here's one from years gone by by Dick Feller.

  2. I'd never heard this song or even knew about Dick Feller. What a funny song! Can't believe that these days, most of us pay for things with ONLY a credit card, no cash or check. Boy, how things have changed!
    Blessings, Victor!

    1. It's true, Martha. I only use credit cards these days; although I check the monthly statements very carefully. In the UK it is better to use credit cards than debit cards. With a credit card you are more legally protected; and the card issuer, (the bank), is liable to recover mistakes made by the seller you bought an item from.

      God bless, Martha.

  3. This was a first for me. Made me laugh when he sang, "computers don't lie" but they sure do make many mistakes. :) Love the guy's hairdo and shirt, retro 70s and we thought it was cool looking back then. :)

    1. Yes Bill, in those days we thought computers never make mistakes. How cool were we those days?

      God bless my friend.

  4. Dearest Victor,
One can hardly imagine the beginning time of the use of credit cards!
We use ours for miles and for hotel points... it sure does add up and it is safer than carrying cash with you.
Nowadays they even prefer the credit card since it is a 'clean' transaction... Haha, how times have changed!
    Never heard this song either.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. Yes, credit cards are so easy these days, as long as one is careful no to get too much in debt. Also useful for on-line purchases.

      God bless, Mariette.

  5. If you have ever had to call a credit card company to straighten out a mistake on your account, you will totally know why this song is a typical rundown on what you will face. Problems, problems and more problems. Lol. Thanks for a true but funny song. God Bless.
