WOW. never heard that before, beautiful and true words, Sherry and I sat reading and listening to the song. I will think twice, that is for sure. Love from this side, and life is definitely NOT paradise for everyone over here either...
The lyrics to this song contrast so well the riches and comforts of some people compared to those who live in the streets with no one to love and care for them.
What a perfect selection, Victor. Winter used to be my favorite season, but recent record-breaking cold temperatures leave me worried for those (mankind and animals) with no shelter to be found. What's that saying, "There are none so blind as those who will not see."
It is heartbreaking to see homeless people out there in this cold, Mevely. We live in a world of extremes which reminds me of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus at his gate. Luke 16:19-31.
I have never heard this song before now, Victor, and it's a heartbreaking one. May we all give to those in need especially at this time of year, my friend. God bless!
...a grim reality for too many!
ReplyDeleteYes sadly, whilst people are shopping for Christmas there are many with nowhere to live or anything to eat.
DeleteGod bless, Tom.
