  3. Not for the first time ... I'm wishing someone had shared this wonderful explanation with the child that was me. So many misgivings, misunderstandings, I was too bashful to voice.

    1. Thank you, Bill. Perhaps I should have put the transcript as part of the post. I am glad you found it easier.

      God bless you and yours.

  5. You are so right, Victor. God doesn't ask us to understand, but to have faith and believe in Him completely.
    Beautiful Sunday offering, my friend!

    1. Many thanx Martha. There are so many mysteries in our faith which we are asked to believe; not analyse and understand.

      God bless always.

  6. Dearest Victor,
We, little humans cannot wrap our minds around the ETERNITY of things, of LIFE FOREVER and it is hard to interpret Jesus' words, even after 2,000 years. Got to be your 23rd listener.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  7. Much food for thought here.

As i have said, i do hope when i get to heaven that i get to spend the first hundred years or so sitting with The Lord at His kitchen table drinking great coffee and us laughing over all the stuff i got wrong and misunderstood in His Word.

    1. We misunderstand so much don't we?

      God bless, Mimi.

  8. If we could have everything explained to us, there'd be no need for faith, 'the evidence of things hoped for and not seen...'

  10. Some things we humans just can't understand but just have to trust Jesus.
