...life has always been about interpreting.
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteGod bless.
Very well said methinks, I enjoyed the narrative. Very sweet devotion for this Sunday Morning.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
Sherry & jack (we listened together this day.)
Thank you so much for your kind words, Jack & Sherry. Much appreciated.
DeleteGod bless always.
Not for the first time ... I'm wishing someone had shared this wonderful explanation with the child that was me. So many misgivings, misunderstandings, I was too bashful to voice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mevely. This was an old recording. The transcript is here: https://timeforreflections.blogspot.com/2012/08/john-6.html
DeleteGod bless you my friend.
Nicely said, Victor. I read the transcript piece, it was easier. Thanks for that link too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill. Perhaps I should have put the transcript as part of the post. I am glad you found it easier.
DeleteGod bless you and yours.
You are so right, Victor. God doesn't ask us to understand, but to have faith and believe in Him completely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Sunday offering, my friend!
Many thanx Martha. There are so many mysteries in our faith which we are asked to believe; not analyse and understand.
DeleteGod bless always.
Dearest Victor,
ReplyDeleteWe, little humans cannot wrap our minds around the ETERNITY of things, of LIFE FOREVER and it is hard to interpret Jesus' words, even after 2,000 years. Got to be your 23rd listener.
Hugs,
Mariette
You are right, Mariette. It is difficult for us to understand the mysteries of our faith.
DeleteGod bless you always.
💞
DeleteMuch food for thought here.
ReplyDeleteAs i have said, i do hope when i get to heaven that i get to spend the first hundred years or so sitting with The Lord at His kitchen table drinking great coffee and us laughing over all the stuff i got wrong and misunderstood in His Word.
We misunderstand so much don't we?
DeleteGod bless, Mimi.
If we could have everything explained to us, there'd be no need for faith, 'the evidence of things hoped for and not seen...'
ReplyDeleteAmen, Linda.
DeleteGod bless always.
Every blog I visit lately has just a black square where a video clip should be :(

DeleteGod bless, River.
Some things we humans just can't understand but just have to trust Jesus.
