Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
Beautiful ... and so comforting! From the pulpit yesterday, Pastor Janet reminded the congregation, "Do not be afraid." In turn, that prompted me to come home and upload to Facebook Fr. Francis' rendition.
In grade school someone had to read something from the old testament each day. This was before it was decided that God and school was unconstitutional. Anyway, this scripture was one of the most popular and I gotta tell you I was c=scared half to death of that Valley.
...but politics today prays on people's fear!

ReplyDeleteYes, they are very comforting and wonderful lyrics, Mevely. And what a coincidence that Pastor Janet talked about "Do not be afraid".
