  1. Well..l got through King of Kings yesterday..
Shed a few tears..as you do..

And l see another film from 1961 is on to~day,
Channel 5 at 1.05..Anthony Quinn in 'Barabbas'..
Barabbas is a religious epic film expanding on
the career of Barabbas, from the Christian Passion
narrative in the Gospel of Mark and other gospels..
    Runs for 2hrs 24mins..

What do we remember on Easter Saturday?
It celebrates God raising his son Jesus from
the dead as well as the destruction of the
power of sin and death forever...Amen!

    3. Something a little light~hearted..
Maria came home from Sunday School and told
her mother that she had learned a new song
about a cross-eyed bear named Gladly....

It took her mother a while before she realised
that the hymn Maria had been singing was really, "Gladly The Cross I'd Bear." :)

A father was reading Bible stories to his
      young son...
He read, 'The man named Lot was warned to
take his wife and flee out of the city, but
his wife looked back and was turned to salt.'

His son asked, 'What happened to the flea?'..

  3. Always good to sing or speak about our wonderful Saviour Jesus every day of the year, especially in these times, when chocolate bunnies and Santa can be (not always) used to block Him out.

  5. Dearest Victor,
We did have a wonderful Maundy Thursday and I enjoyed being in such a great chorus with orchestra.
Tonight we have an Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of The Lord Mass and tomorrow I'll join the chorus with orchestra and looking forward to once more performing HΓ€ndel's Halleluja...
Happy Easter to you and yours from both of us!

  10. "Remember me when you come into your kingdom . . ." What faith this thief showed as his life was coming to an end! I know Jesus honored this man's trust and humility.
    Blessed Easter, Victor!

    1. It shows, Martha, that sometimes there is the possibility of a last minute conversion. We need to pray more for the lost sheep.

Happy Easter to you and yours. God bless.
