Man and God - Time For Reflections

Someone who has read all of my books said to me the other day that I sometimes repeat myself in my books - the "devotional" type ones like the ones above. The reason for this is that God's message is worth repeating if it is to reach many people. No one will ever buy and read all my books. I don't expect them to. So those who buy the occasional book will hopefully read the Good News about God and His love for us. Some important subjects are worth repeating: Who is God? Why did He create us? And what is our role in His plan for us?

Those who buy both books, and others, will hopefully benefit from new subjects discussed here and in my other publications.

These two titles are intended for new Christians, or for people who want to find out more about God.

Thank you. God bless you for your support.

  1. ...I repeat myself all the time. I wonder if age is a factor?

  2. "No one will ever buy and read all my books."

    How do you know?

There are people who buy and read all of Stephen King's books and you are just like him but different. It could happen!

    1. How kind of you, Sandi, to say this. I just hope that what I write may encourage someone to get to know about God.

      God bless you.

  3. I feel the same, about my books, but it has happened. I have a habit, when I run across an author I like I usually end reading all he/she has written. I read over 100 of one western writer. So far I have read a few of yours and truly enjoy them. I read for both enjoyment and also to learn. Yours are both. Since I have had only one close relationship with folks of the R. Catholic faith, I read you also for an education. I appreciate your take on the questions you asked in the video above.
Anyway I do enjoy your books. Shucks even at times the humor.
Love from the next coast over,

    1. Thank you so much for your kindness to me, Jack, and for your generous reviews on AMAZON of my books. I am glad to hear that you enjoy what I write - even the humour. I have learnt a lot from visiting your Blog. Always something interesting there.

      God bless you and Sherry.

  4. "Repetition is the mother of learning." once said a wise man. I was very fortunate to hear Zig Ziglar ... and now, Victor Moubarak!

    1. I'm certainly not as good as other famous writers or speakers, Mevely. But I try ... I used to give business talks when I worked in London. I learnt a lot from them; even if the audience didn't.

Did you hear Ziglar at a conference?

Thank you for your review on AMAZON of my book "A Shot In The Park".

God bless you and thanx for your support.

    2. Yes, my mother and I saw him speak at a Tony Robbins event in the mid-90's. Then about 15 years later at a like-kind (motivational) conference. Very sad -- despite his folksy manner, Zig began telling the same story. I don't know if he was suffering from dementia, but his daughter came up and escorted him off stage.

    3. I've no idea what happened to my reply! Gremlins?
But yes, I saw him in the mid-90's at an Orlando Tony Robbins event; then 15 years or so later in Phoenix. Sadly. it was obvious he was in some(?) state of decline. Started telling the same stories over and over until his daughter came up and escorted him offstage.

    4. Sorry, Mevely. Something's gone wrong with the computer. For a while it did not print your comments. I've retrieved them.

So sorry to hear he was not well towards the end.

My repetitions of certain subjects in my books, like The Holy Trinity, Forgiveness, Answers to prayers is because I feel they are important and perhaps my readers would not buy all my books. The subjects are not repeated verbatim but I change the context in which they apply.

Thank you for your friendship, Mevely. God bless.

  5. If you want people to know what ever it is, repeating the same message over and over again will help a lot. Unfortunately people are spending the wrong messages in today's society.

    1. Yes, wrong messages seem to gain popularity quickly.

  9. Victor: It is amazing how so many can judge by a few words; I think hearing the Word over and over is a gift one which many should pay attention to.
Many writers do repeat in their books, repeating Gods words is a gift to us readers who truly believe.
Thank-you for writing a beautiful blog again and again.

    1. Thank you Catherine for your kind words. The reason some topics are repeated is because I feel they are important. Thank you for supporting my writing.

      God bless always.

  12. Dearest Victor,
Let me repeat my review for Man and God here:
Used two as a gift and read one ourselves and this is well phrased and helpful for many!
Especially nowadays where so many people tend to stray away from God, this is a very good book for bringing them back into the fold.

    2. You're quite welcome Victor.
Meanwhile the review for the book that I read in South Florida while 'relaxing' has been published:
      Mystery At Status Manor
Being on vacation and getting immersed into such a GREAT book is BLISS
What a wonderful book, so well written by this writer that you think you ARE THERE! Seeing it all unfold but NOT QUITE getting the PLOT.
      Excellent story!
      Highly recommended.

Husband Pieter LOVED it too, so well written he mentioned.

    3. Oh, I am overwhelmed Mariette. You and Pieter are so kind to me and so full of praise. I wrote that story as a bit of humour to entertain my readers and as a change from my Christian books. I am so glad you liked it. Thank you, thank you.

      God bless always.
